The Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 77 in Lakefield is holding an official dedication for the new Veterans Memorial Crosswalk in Lakefield on Saturday, June 20th at 10:00 a.m. The crosswalk is located on Queen Street between Free Topping Pizza and Memorial Hall (Lakefield Library.)

Christ Church Community Museum is excited to announce the summer opening of the church and its museum. The museum will be open daily, 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m., from July 1st to September 7th, 2026. New exhibits this year will highlight the second generation of Susanna and John Moodie's family. Be prepared for some hair-raising tales involving 'spirit adventures' and communicating with the dead.
