Ladom Ensemble is a mini-orchestra of four classically trained, fearlessly virtuosic musicians who create a unique acoustic fusion. Their sound draws from a rich tapestry of influences, including Western classical, klezmer, rock, tango, jazz, East Coast traditional, and classical Persian music. United by a spirit of improvisation, they listen deeply, respond spontaneously, and thrive on musical risk-taking.

Performing Arts Lakefield presents: The Happy Pals New Orleans Party Orchestra
The Happy Pals are a classic New Orleans style ensemble which includes trumpet, trombone, clarinet, banjo, piano, double bass and drums. They are inspired by the early jazz and blues music of the 1920s and 1930s. The Happy Pals have been playing New Orleans dance hall jazz in Toronto for over four decades. They have also played throughout the United States and tour Europe annually.

Doggie Dash
Excitement is building for the upcoming Doggie Dash on June 7 at Isabel Morris Park in Lakefield. Participants can choose between a 1.5 km or 2.5 km walk through Lakefield, while raising funds for the animals at the Lakefield Animal Welfare Society. Following the walk, attendees can enjoy delicious food vendors, browse local artisans, and explore handmade treasures.

Kawartha Youth Talent Showcase
An evening of captivating music at Lakefield United Church! Featuring award-winning young artists performing Chopin, Liszt, Mozart, and more. The event is free, however donations will be gratefully accepted at the door in support of The Kawartha Youth Orchestra and Community Care Lakefield.
