Lakefield District Historical Society present "House of Refuge"

Learn about Lakefield’s House of Refuge. Constructed in 1906 as a place for the destitute, it was also a shelter for people who had fallen through the cracks.

Hear a talk on the House of Refuge with guest speaker Dennis Carter-Edwards, presented by Lakefield District Historical Society.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. with light refreshments. Presentation at 7:00 p.m.

Free to everyone.
