Lakefield Youth Unlimited (LYU) is hosting its 23rd Annual Fundraising Dinner on Thursday, October 22 at the Lakefield Legion, 10 Nicholls Street. Guests can look forward to an evening of good food, community connection, and inspiring stories of transformation made possible through LYU’s work.

Community Table offers a welcoming meal and an opportunity to connect with others in the community. All are welcome. Supper will be served at 5:30 p.m., rain or shine. There will also be kids' games outdoors if the weather allows. There is no cost for the meal, however donations are graciously accepted.

Christ Church Community Museum is excited to announce the summer opening of the church and its museum. The museum will be open daily, 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m., from July 1st to September 7th, 2026. New exhibits this year will highlight the second generation of Susanna and John Moodie's family. Be prepared for some hair-raising tales involving 'spirit adventures' and communicating with the dead.

Starting at 10 a.m. from Lakefield Baptist Church. Meet at Regent Street door, 36 Regent St. Finishing at 10:45 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Anglican Church, 81 Queen St. Walk to follow the journey of Jesus of the cross. This is a “rain or shine” event.
