Christ Church Exhibit Talks: Susanna Moodie and Spiritualism

Christ Church Community Museum is hosting a series of Exhibit Talks and Graveyard Tours throughout the summer.

On Thursday, July 23, guide Barry Mutter will be hosting Susanna Moodie and Spiritualism, beginning at 2:00 p.m.

Other talks throughout the summer include:

New exhibits at the museum this year highlight the second generation of Susanna and John Moodie's family. Be prepared for some hair-raising tales involving 'spirit adventures' and communicating with the dead. Susanna Moodie and Catharine Parr Traill: a Study in Contrasts will focus on their relationship to each other and what the women were like behind their authorial voices.

Christ Church Community Museum is open daily, 1:00 - 4:00 p.m., from Canada Day until Labour Day
