Lakefield Animal Welfare Society Golf Tournament

Make an impact at Lakefield Animal Welfare Society’s 19th Annual Golf Tournament, hosted at Liftlock Golf Club on September 13th. Shotgun start, scramble format, 18 holes of golf, cart, drink ticket, dinner.

Doggie Dash
Excitement is building for the upcoming Doggie Dash on June 7 at Isabel Morris Park in Lakefield. Participants can choose between a 1.5 km or 2.5 km walk through Lakefield, while raising funds for the animals at the Lakefield Animal Welfare Society. Following the walk, attendees can enjoy delicious food vendors, browse local artisans, and explore handmade treasures.

Kawartha Youth Talent Showcase
An evening of captivating music at Lakefield United Church! Featuring award-winning young artists performing Chopin, Liszt, Mozart, and more. The event is free, however donations will be gratefully accepted at the door in support of The Kawartha Youth Orchestra and Community Care Lakefield.
Lakefield Horticultural Society Annual Plant Sale
Annual Victoria Day Weekend Plant Sale, hosted by the Lakefield Horticultural Society. Featuring hundreds of annuals, perennials, vegetables, and more - all at very reasonable prices. Taking place in Cenotaph Park, in front of Memorial Hall, from 8:00 a.m. until sold out.
Irish Millie at Christ Church Community Museum
Irish Millie featuring Murray Shadgett perform at Christ Church Community Museum. Great tunes for a great cause! Tickets are $20 and available at Happenstance Books & Yarns, 44 Queen Street. Contact Susan at 705-652-7535. Seating is limited.
Lakefield Children’s Choir Dinner Theatre Fundraiser
Join Lakefield Youth Unlimited and the Lakefield Children’s Choir for an evening of music, delicious food, and a great cause!
Performances by Lakefield Children’s Choir, Noah Abrahamse, and more.
Catering provided by Hanoi House
Tickets: $40 for Adult, $10 for Kids
All proceeds will go to support the Lakefield Children’s Choir and Musical Theatre Group, and LYU’s Elementary Youth Worker Position.
