Time to declutter your closets!

The Lakefield Village Lions Club is holding their annual Winter Clothing Drive on Thursday, September 24 and Friday, September 25.

Donations will be distributed at Lakefield Community Food Bank so their clients will have access to warm winter clothing before the colder weather arrives.

The Village Lions gratefully accepting clean and gently used:

• Coats

• Mittens

• Hats/Toques

• Boots

• Snow Pants

• Scarves

Men’s, women’s, youth and children’s winter items are all appreciated! Youth and children’s sizes are especially needed.

Donation drop off times:

• Thursday, September 24 from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m.

• Friday, September 25 from 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

Can’t make it during these times? Contact the Lakefield Village Lions Club at 705-344-2917 or 416-809-0855 to arrange a drop off.

Last year, the community donated almost nine carloads of clothing. Let’s see what Lakefield can do this year!
