To celebrate the 100th Anniversary of the United Church of Canada, a Strawberry Social will be held following the service on Sunday, June 22 in the Friendship Room of Lakefield United Church.

All are invited to stay and enjoy fresh strawberries, shortcakes, and warm fellowship as the congregation marks this significant milestone in the church’s history.

As part of the celebration, two beautiful historical quilts—on loan from the Lakefield Historical Society—will be on display, offering a glimpse into the rich heritage and enduring community spirit of the church.

This special gathering is a meaningful opportunity to honour a century of shared faith and ministry.
