Celebrate Family Paddle Day at the Lakefield Beach. Enjoy a leisurely paddle around Katchewanooka Lake and the Lakefield Marsh.

Bring your own, or use the canoes and kayaks provided by Adventure Outfitters or Lovesick Lake Kayaking on a first come, first served basis. After the paddle, participants are invited to enjoy refreshments and snack over an open campfire.

To celebrate Lakefield's historic connection to canoe building, anyone with a wooden boat is invited to join in the Paddle Day event.

To guarantee yourself a canoe or kayak, please contact Adventure Outfitters prior to the event by calling 705-652-7986.

In the event of inclement weather, the event will be postponed until Monday, June 23 at 5:30 p.m.
