The Village of Lakefield has a full calendar of summer events, kicking off this weekend with the Lakefield Jazz, Art & Craft Festival.

On Saturday, July 12, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., Isabel Morris Park at 20 Concession Street in Lakefield will be filled with live jazz music, handcrafted treasures, and local delights — just steps from the scenic Otonabee River.

The music lineup is as follows:

  • 11 :00 a.m. – Curtis Cronkwright Quartet

  • 12:50 p.m. – Ernesto Cervini’s Turboprop

  • 2:40 p.m. – Denielle Bassels

  • 4:30 p.m. – Kevin Goss Quintet

In addition to a full day of music, there will be over 30 artisan and craft booths showcasing a wide variety of handmade goods, including original artwork, pottery, jewelry, textiles, woodwork, and more. It’s the perfect opportunity to shop local and support talented makers from across the region.

A diverse selection of food trucks and vendors will be on-site offering something for everyone. Enjoy savoury meals, gourmet treats, baked goods, and refreshing beverages, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic.

With the help of vendors, volunteers, and participants, the 2025 Lakefield Jazz, Art & Craft Festival is striving to be a clean, green event. Organizers are working towards this goal by providing a water refill station, setting up sorting stations for garbage, recycling, and compost, and encouraging attendees to bring their own water bottles and cutlery.

Visitors are also encouraged to walk, bike (bike racks are located beside the event space), carpool, or take the free shuttle service. Artisans and food vendors are likewise encouraged to reduce waste wherever possible.

Admission is $10 at the gate. Cash or debit will be accepted.

A free shuttle service will run approximately every 15 minutes throughout the Village of Lakefield from 10 :00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m. Watch for the yellow Hamilton Bus Line shuttle bus. More details on the shuttle bus service here.
