Selwyn Township Announces Free Shuttle Service to Local Events

Selwyn Township has announced a free shuttle service to local events this summer, including the Lakefield Jazz, Art & Craft Festival, Lakefield Literary Festival, and Curve Lake Pow Wow.

This initiative provides a stress-free and eco-friendly way to enjoy Selwyn Township’s vibrant line-up of festivals and events.

Free shuttle services include:

  • Lakefield Jazz, Art and Craft Festival on Saturday, July 12, 2025 — From 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., the shuttle will run approximately every 15 minutes, stopping at designated Link bus stops throughout the Village of Lakefield. Look for the festival signs at these stops to enjoy a free ride to and from this popular celebration of music, art, and craftsmanship.

  • Lakefield Literary Festival on Saturday, July 19, 2025 — The shuttle will circulate between Trent University and event locations, Cenotaph Park and Lakefield College School, providing convenient transportation from 9:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. for Literary Festival attendees.

  • Curve Lake Pow Wow on Saturday, September 20 and Sunday, September 21, 2025 — Celebrate the rich cultural heritage of the Curve Lake Pow Wow with free shuttle service on both Saturday and Sunday, September 20 and 21. The shuttle will operate from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., making stops at Trent University, the Curve Lake Pow Wow Grounds, and designated Link stops in between.

Watch for a yellow Hamilton Bus Line school bus featuring The Link logo, for all three events.
