Christ Church Community Museum opens for the summer season
Christ Church Community Museum, located at 62 Queen Street in downtown Lakefield, is now open for the summer season, welcoming visitors daily from July 1 to September 1, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m.
This year, guests are invited to explore the museum’s fascinating new exhibit, Sons and Daughters: The Traills — The Second Generation. Catharine Parr and Thomas Traill had nine children, seven of whom lived into adulthood. This special exhibit delves into each of their lives, uncovering intriguing stories such as: Who killed Harry Traill? and What contributions did Willie and Walter Traill make as “Company Men” with the Hudson’s Bay Company?
