A longstanding Lakefield tradition, these weekly gatherings in Lent are a wonderful way to bring the community together for good food, good conversation and thought-provoking presentations.
This year’s Lenten Lunches promise all that, and something a little extra. In 2026, the lunches will be more of a coordinated community effort with several Lakefield churches pitching in to make and serve a two-course meal.
Tickets are $8 and include a bowl of freshly made soup, homemade dessert and a presentation from a guest speaker.

Thursday, March 12 — Rev Peter Moore, Pastor, Lakefield Baptist Church
Thursday, March 19 — Rev Peter Moore, Pastor, Lakefield Baptist Church
Thursday, March 26 — Rev Ann Blane, St. Andrews Presbyterian Church
