A highly anticipated highlight for 2026 is the return of the horse drawn sleigh rides at the Ennismore Community Centre, offered for the first time since 2020. This beloved PolarFest experience invites families to enjoy a scenic winter ride on Saturday, January 31 from 1:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., adding a touch of nostalgia and charm to the weekend festivities.

On Saturday, visitors can also explore stunning ice carvings in Lakefield’s Cenotaph Park and Bridgenorth’s Heritage Park. To help residents move easily between communities, a free PolarFest shuttle bus will operate throughout the day on Saturday, January 31.

The weekend wraps up on Sunday, February 1, with the Frosty 5K Run, and the always-entertaining BEL Rotary Polar Plunge, 2:00 p.m. at Rotary Park in Ennismore.
