Lakefield Village Lions Club launches Catch the Ace progressive lottery in support of PRHC Foundation
The Lakefield Village Lions Club is thrilled to announce the launch of its new Catch the Ace progressive lottery, offering ticket purchasers a chance to win the weekly cash prize and a chance to win the current jackpot while supporting important local charities.
"Catch the Ace is a fun and exciting way for our community to come together while raising funds for outstanding local organizations," said the Lakefield Village Lions Club. "Every ticket purchased helps make a difference right here in our community.”
The first draw will take place on Wednesday, August 19 at 2:00 p.m. at Classy Chassis Motorcycles, 1399 8th Line Smith, Lakefield (Motorcycle Service Centre – East Building).

Future draws will be held weekly on Wednesdays at 2 p.m., at the same location. All draws will be posted live on Facebook: www.facebook.com/lakefieldvillagelionsclub.
With an estimated starting jackpot of $3,000, the excitement grows every week until the Ace of Spades is revealed. For just $5 per ticket, every ticket provides two opportunities to win:
Weekly, one lucky ticket is drawn to win the weekly cash prize. That lucky winner has chosen one envelope number from available envelopes. If the selected envelope reveals the Ace of Spades the weekly winner also receives the current amount in the progressive jackpot.
If the Ace of Spades is not revealed, that card will be destroyed and the envelope number is removed from subsequent draws.
Every week the progressive jackpot grows, and the available envelopes are reduced until the Ace of Spades is revealed.
Players may purchase as many tickets as they wish and choose the same or different envelope numbers with each ticket.

Net proceeds from the lottery will benefit the Peterborough Regional Health Centre (PRHC) Foundation and other eligible charities. Additional community partners will be announced soon.
