Over 12,000 Visitors at Lakefield Farmers’ Market in 2024
Since its founding in 2009, the market has traditionally operated from Victoria Day until Thanksgiving. However, after welcoming over 12,000 visitors in 2024, a two-week season extension was introduced as a trial run. With a positive response from both vendors and customers, the decision was made to make the extended season permanent.
“There is a growing desire to shop local, and we are proud to provide even more opportunities for our community to connect with fresh, high-quality food and products.”
The 2025 season kicks off on Thursday, May 15, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. behind the Lakefield-Smith Community Centre and will now run through Thursday, October 30.
