As the number of animals needing help in our community continues to rise, you can be their hero – and all you have to do is walk!
Join Lakefield Animal Welfare Society for the 2026 Doggie Dash, a fun-filled dog walk to fundraise for LAWS!
On June 14, 2026 participants will gather in Isabel Morris Park and kick off the walk together. By joining, you and your dog will help rescue, rehabilitate and find forever homes for more dogs and cats in the community
Start Time: Registration will open at 12:00 p.m. with the walk kicking off at 1:00 p.m.
Distance: Participants can choose from two walking distances: 1.5km or 2.5km To join the walk, each participant must raise a minimum of $100.
Fundraising Profiles: Participants will have their own profile where they can raise money for the walk. Share your personalized link with your family, friends, and on social media.
After the walk, explore a variety of pet and people vendors, and satisfy your hunger with delicious food from our food vendors. Limited seating is available, so participants are encouraged to allow those with accessibility needs to have priority seating.
