The Lakefield Literary Festival celebrates Canadian literature by honouring the rich literary heritage of the region and showcasing acclaimed authors, poets, and storytellers. Visitors can enjoy author readings, engaging discussions, and book signings in a welcoming atmosphere that inspires a love of reading and storytelling.
The 2025 festival is taking place July 18 & 19 at Lakefield College School, with the popular Children’s Tent returning to downtown Lakefield.
This year’s lineup promises a weekend full of inspiration, conversation, and community.

New this year is a shuttle service sponsored by Selwyn Township, running from Trent University to each Saturday event at Lakefield College School.
