The 2026 Lakefield Literary Festival Children’s Tent features children’s authors Loretta Garbutt and Marcus Cutler. This year’s theme is Imagination Ignited.

The Children’s Program is a lively, joy-filled event for all ages - adults included! It offers young readers a wonderful opportunity to meet authors and discover the magic of stories brought to life.

There will be a special author parade to the stage, engaging presentations by authors and lively introductions by local children, as well as the famous book draw for attendees.

This event takes place in Cenotaph Park beside the Lakefield Library. Rain location TBA. Admission is free.
